La Filosofia de Proyectos Tecnovo (The Philosophy of Tecnovo)
This video is one of three videos for the website, proyectostecnovo.org. Proyectos Tecnovo is a non-profit organization based in Bogota, Colombia, and they make handmade crafts for the home. What makes them special is they hire people with disabilities to make these crafts, but even better, they are paid above minimum wage. Claudia Gaitan de Caballero is the founder of Tecnovo and she explains the importance of Tecnovo and paying her workers minimum wage and above.
ROLES: My role was the video director, sound editor, and film editor for this video.

Los Trabajadores de Proyectos Tecnovo (The Faces of Tecnovo)
Part of the importance of this organization was to ensure that the workers with disabilities and who were in vulnerable states had a voice and a platform to share their story with the world. Often times, the stories of people with disabilities are told by others without disability. It is important that people with disabilities get to tell their own authentic story with their voice and that they are represented in every possible way in the media. Here is a video that shows some of the faces of Tecnovo and their perspective of working at Tecnovo.

El Proceso de los Productos de Tecnovo (The Process of Making the Products)
This video discusses the process of how the products of the organization, Proyectos Tecnovo were made, and the importance of increasing their sells. If they increase their sells, they can hire more people with disabilities, which leads to more people with disabilities receiving pay and increasing their independence. This video explains how the products of Tecnovo are expanding into larger department stores and smaller boutiques, with hopes of getting more of their products into larger, local businesses in Bogota, Colombia.
