Dancing in the Rain

This motion graphics animation was for my final project for a Motion Design Class at Duke University. We had to create a 1-3 minute animation with the theme WATER. I decided to work off my favorite quote, "Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain." This animation tells the story about my major surgeries - two spine surgeries and one limb lengthening surgery. While I felt I was drowning as a result of them, the "Dancing in the Rain" quote help me get through these surgeries. This quote symbolizes overcoming obstacles in your path, and how one cannot stop living life just because roadblocks are in ones way.

ROLES: I was the motion graphics designer and animator. I also painted the girl using acrylic paint.

AWARDS: Bronze Remi Award at WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.
